Osage County deputies say they have arrested an Oklahoma man on suspected drug distribution and weapon activity.
Sheriff Chris Wells says an alleged traffic infraction led to a stop on US Highway 75 near Lyndon just before 1 am. Wells says deputies found narcotics during the stop.
The driver, 46-year-old Andrew Hernandez of Tulsa, was arrested on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute, criminal possession of weapons, possessing drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license. Wells has not given any information about the amount of methamphetamine or number of weapons in this incident.
Formal charges are pending.
