Part of Prairie Street south of Emporia has reopened after a short-term road project.
Lyon County contractor NF Construction worked Tuesday and Wednesday on a patch and repair project from South Avenue south to Road 160. That stretch of Prairie opened by late afternoon Wednesday.
Work will continue on geometric improvements at Sixth and Prairie until at least July, meaning constricted traffic at that intersection through most of the next two months.
