Emporia State Athletic Director David Spafford did not take long to find the next Head Baseball Coach at Emporia State. He has selected Emporia State Hall of Honor member Brad Hill.
Hill played at Emporia State for Dave Bingham graduating in 1984. He still holds the school records for games played, home runs and runs batted in.
After finishing a pro career with the Texas Rangers he has Coached at Hutchinson Community College, Kansas, Central Missouri where he won a national title in 2003. He spent 15 seasons at Kansas State where he led the Cats to the 2013 Big 12 Championship.
He has a career coaching record of 880–463–3.
