There’s something for everyone to do at Madison Days Saturday.
Activities begin at 8 a.m. with a biscuits and gravy breakfast served by the 1st Christian Church’s Youth Group.
A new activity on this year’s schedule will be a greasy pig round-up at 4 p.m in the City Park.
On KVOE’s Morning Show Thursday, Organizer Jessica Canchola explained what a greasy pig round-up consists of.
Other activities throughout the day include goat roping, 3 on 3 basketball, bingo, History Talk with Bob, sand volleyball, free swimming at the Madison Pool, a scavenger hunt, and cornhole.
The day’s festivities will conclude outside The Ranch with live music from Stewart Ray from 7 to 10 p.m. followed by karaoke at 10 p.m.
The theme of this year’s event is Homegrown.
