The Emporia Golf Course hosted the Kansas Junior Optimist District Qualifier Friday.
Emporian Caden Massey finished in a tie for 1st place with a 1 under 70 in the 16-18 age group.
He also qualified for the Optimist International tournament.
Council Groves Drew Buchman finished in 6th place with a 1 over 72.
Hudson Sauder finished with his best score ever finishing with a 2 over par 73 and in 13th place.
Nolan Jacob finished in 29th place with a 79.
Emporian Chesney Erkel won the boys’ 12-13 age group with a 93.
Maddex Gurley finished in 5th place.
