The federal COVID-19 pandemic emergency ended last month, but free at-home test kits are available through a state partnership through Thursday.
Project Access COVIS Tests, or Project ACT, is a partnership involving the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and RF Catalytic Capital, The Rockefeller Foundation’s public charity. KDHE says residents can order up to 5 at-home tests at no cost by going online to accesscovidtests.org or by calling 866-534-3463 if they need more assistance.
KDHE says all Kansas households are eligible for tests. Amazon will deliver the kits directly to specified addresses.
KDHE has sent out over 308,000 test kits as part of this program.
