The Emporia Public Library is busy for the rest of the month, and not just because of the Kids Koncerts continuing Wednesday.
The Summer Reading Program continues, and Library Director Pauline Stacchini sees a lot of advantages for that program overlapping the Kids Koncerts.
Wednesday will have magician Jeff Quinn in front of the library starting at noon. If there is rain or the threat of rain, the concert will move to the White Auditorium Little Theater.
Next week’s concert features perennial favorite Jim Cosgrove, also known as Mr. Stinky Feet, while the series ends June 28 with Funky Mama Krista Eyler.
Meanwhile, 4H Fun Fridays, a partnership with K-State Research and Extension, are taking place June 16 and June 23. Worm Races are at 10 am June 20.
