Morris County deputies and Council Grove Police officers say they have arrested a Missouri man who is a wanted fugitive.
Sheriff Jay Simecka say officers and deputies received a suspicious person call near Council Grove’s Cotage House Hotel around 9:45 pm June 8. Authorities later found 49-year-old Andrae Dion Lars of Kansas City, Missouri, and took Lars to the Riley County Detention Facility for booking.
Authorities say Lars is a convicted felon wanted in Riley County for unspecified warrants, Missouri on a felony warrant and Colorado on a governor’s warrant — which are issued for fugitives. Additional details are not immediately available.
Word on formal charges is pending.
