Budget and building matters will be focal points for the Emporia Recreation Commission with its monthly meeting Monday.
In separate items, board members will review current budget estimates and could approve a notice to the County Clerk’s Office on intent to exceed the revenue-neutral rate.
Also, the board will get updates on a three-year capital improvement outline and the Rec Commission’s Future Funding Task Force, along with conversations on fitness room flooring, a dehumidification unit for the Lee Beran Recreation Center’s indoor pool and the possibility of creating two new outdoor maintenance positions for the upcoming fiscal year.
Approval of a GolfZone simulator could also see a vote Monday.
The meeting is at 5:30 pm at the Rec Center.
