The budget process moves from the presentation to polishing stage for Lyon County this week.
Commissioners will have a special meeting Wednesday to review the initial 2024 budget forecast after the annual presentations from county departments and allocation agencies over the past month. The meeting starts at 11 am, with the official first-draft review starting at 11:15 am.
Separate executive sessions on non-elected personnel and legal matters will follow shortly before noon.
County commissioners will also have their regular weekly meeting Thursday morning. The agenda for that meeting has not been released.
