The Royals scored 2 runs in the 2nd inning to take a 2-0 lead. The Tigers answered with 3 runs in the bottom of the 2nd and never trailed the rest of the game.
The Royals travel to Tampa to play the Tampa Bay Rays Thursday. The first pitch is set for 5:40 pm. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM beginning at 5 pm.
