Preparations are underway for Chamber of Commerce businesses participating in the new Chamber Blue health insurance program.
This is the first year of the program, and Chamber President and CEO Jeanine Mckenna was pleased with the number of health insurance options that developed for this year’s participants. She says it’s a good option for small businesses.
Chamber Blue is a partnership between Chamber of Commerce Executives of Kansas and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas.
Businesses connected to the Chamber who didn’t take part in the Chamber Blue’s health insurance option for this year need to take a survey if they want to be involved next year, although McKenna says the survey does not automatically lock businesses into the Chamber Blue plan.
