There are two main points of business ahead for Lyon County commissioners during the public portion of their upcoming action meeting this week.
Commissioners will consider installation of flashing stop signs at Fourth and Main in Allen following approval by the Emporia-Lyon County Joint Traffic Safety Committee.
Commissioners could also increase the county’s mileage reimbursement rate to 65.5 cents per mile to reflect the state reimbursement rate.
Commission and staff reports are scheduled along with two executive sessions, one for non-elected personnel and one for legal matters.
The meeting is at 9 am at the County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
