The METL Prairie Pour Tour is off to a good start, according to Visit Emporia Director LeLan Dains.
The METL Coalition — for Manhattan, Emporia, Topeka and Lawrence — has developed the Prairie Pour Tour that will take residents to breweries, distilleries and wineries in and around the four cities — including Emporia’s Radius Brewing and Trolley House Distillery. Residents who download a digital passport and check into the participating tour stops can win prizes like T-shirts, posters or the grand prize — a getaway package to all four communities. Also, the breweries, distilleries and wineries on the tour may have other associated events added to community calendars before the year’s out. Dains also says this will return and will be available all next year.
