At the 113th Kansas Amateur Match Play Championship golf tournament Emporian Gentry Scheve was still on the course when first-round play was halted Tuesday. After 9 holes Scheve is at even par. Brooks Sauder finished his first round at plus 1 and is tied for 56th place. Caleb Schmid finished round 1 at plus 4.
Round 1 will finish before round 2 begins Wednesday. The 64 lowest scores and ties will advance to match play which begins Thursday.
