The Friends of the Emporia Public Library will be having a flash sale this weekend.
It’ll take place Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 618 Mechanic just north of the library.
On KVOE’s Morning Show Tuesday, Friends of the Emporia Public Library President Dee Schwinn says there will be a variety of materials up for sale.
Items up for sale will cost anywhere from 50 cents to $3. Unlike the traditional spring and fall book sales where there are bag days and special pricing, those will not take place during the flash sale.
Schwinn says a flash sale was needed due to the large number of donations coming in.
The Friends of the Emporia Public Library’s fall book sale is scheduled for November 4-9.
