Information about the benefits of breastfeeding will be presented during a special event Wednesday at the Emporia Public Library.
Lyon County WIC will have Blooming for Breastfeeding on Wednesday afternoon. Spokesperson Felicia Davidson says breastfeeding is “incredibly important.”
Davidson says this is a come-and-go event for all pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. Lyon County WIC is organizing the event, but women attending don’t have to be WIC clients to be involved.
