State revenues continue outpacing monthly projections.
July’s total was $681 million, above estimates by nearly $14 million and almost $95 million above the July 2022 total.
Individual income tax collections, nearly $314 million, were better than estimates by nearly $4 million and July 2022 numbers by over $13 million. Corporate collections of almost $45 million beat estimates by $4.7 million and July 2022 revenues by over 22 percent. Combined retail sales and compensating use tax collections were solid. At over $315 million, the total beat estimates by over $12 million and were up almost 40 percent over July 2022 numbers.
