You still have plenty of time to get your tickets for the latest production through Emporia’s WEACT Community Theatre group.
Annie Get Your Gun is set to take place Thursday through Saturday at the Emporia High School Auditorium. The classic play tells a fictionalized version of the life of sharpshooter Annie Oakley.
Playing the role of Oakley is Allie Jones who says the entire production has been an overwhelmingly positive experience.
Playing the role of Oakley’s love interest Frank Butler is Miles Shirk who says Annie Get Your Gun is a show for everybody.
Tickets for Annie Get Your Gun are available at the Emporia Arts Council costing $10 for adults and $7 for students. All three performances will begin at 7 pm.
