A Council Grove teenager is dead after a wreck south of Wilsey on Sunday morning.
The Morris County Sheriff’s Office says deputies got a notice from the Life Alert 360 app about a possible wreck near 1800 Road and Z Avenue, three miles south of Wilsey, shortly before 11 am.
Upon arrival, a deputy found a 2003 Chevy S-10 pickup driven by 15-year-old Kolter Litke of Council Grove and started CPR on Litke. Morris County EMS then took Kolter to Morris County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Deputies say Litke was apparently eastbound on Z when the truck left the road and hit a concrete bridge rail.
