The USD 252 Honor Flight is holding its biggest fundraiser Saturday.
The eighth annual golf scramble will take place at the Emporia Golf Course. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with a shotgun start set for 9 a.m.
Former USD 252 Superintendent Dr. Mike Argabright says lasting relationships are made between the students and veterans who make the trip. Argabright added the support is always appreciated.
The cost is $65 per person or $260 for a four-person team and includes lunch.
To register before Saturday, contact Argabright at (620) 794-5049. Teams can register on the day of the event with cutoff time being 8 a.m.
Funds from the golf scramble will go toward the next honor flight trip which is scheduled for November 6-7.
