With Bob Wright in the process of retiring, Newman Regional Health has announced a public celebration of Wright’s nearly 10-year career leading the hospital.
The celebration is Aug. 30 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Cafeteria Conference Room.
Wright officially retires at the end of September. Cathy Pimple will become the hospital’s CEO later this year.
Separately, the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology has named Larry Finley as part of its 2023 Class of Fellows.
Finley has been Newman Regional Health’s director of anesthesiology since 2014. He has also been a member of Emporia Anesthesia Associates since 2010.
EAA has been Newman Regional Health’s exclusive anesthesia provider since 1973.
