Seasonal summer temperatures Saturday will set up a pair of thunderstorm chances before the weekend is through.
Round 1 is expected early Sunday after temperatures climb to the low 90s areawide Saturday afternoon. The area is in a marginal-to-slight severe weather risk for hail and wind, but the National Weather Service says from central Kansas may well be losing their power as they approach the area.
Round 2 of storm activity is likely areawide Sunday evening into early Monday. Again, large hail and damaging winds are possible.
