Preliminary hearings are scheduled in unrelated cases of note Wednesday in Lyon County District Court.
Joni Lee Beemer will be in court before Judge Doug Jones at 9:30 am. Beemer faces one count of distributing up to 100 grams of methamphetamine, as well as two counts of aggravated child endangerment and a count of possessing drug paraphernalia following alleged activity in early June.
At 10 am, Alex Chu Ayu has a hearing — also before Judge Jones. The lead count in Chu’s case is kidnapping, with Chu also facing traffic counts after an alleged incident in late June.
