Jury trial has been reset in a Lyon County attempted murder case.
Following a decision to approve additional prosecution witnesses and a reduction in bond as requested by defense, trial in Logan Casteel’s case is now set for Oct. 10-13. A defense motion for immunity was denied in earlier court proceedings.
Casteel is charged with attempted murder after shooting Justin Smith near Emporia in mid-October.
