Currently, there are no indications of a gas leak after a possible incident was reported at the Flint Hills Technical College main campus Thursday morning.
Emporia Fire and Kansas Gas reported to a technology building 3301 West 18th around 10:20 am. Emporia Fire had no signs of a gas leak and cleared the scene within 30 minutes. Kansas Gas remained for additional work.
The building was evacuated briefly as a precaution. Students and staff have since returned to class.
