Burlingame improved to 2-0 after defeating Lebo in the area game of the week.
Dane Winters accounted for five total touchdowns and over 100 yards of total offense. One of the touchdowns from Winters was a 49-yard punt return that swung the momentum to Burlingame. Leading 19-6 early in the second quarter, Burlingame would not look back the rest of the game.
Jeff Slater was impressed how his kids came out and competed.
Winters was joined in the offensive attack by JD Tyson, who accounted for 313 yards through the air and ground.
Lebo’s Drew Konrade found the end zone twice in the loss.
Burlingame will play Hartford next week. Lebo hosts Madison in the area game of the week.
