The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating after a missing Topeka man with family in Lyon County was found dead Tuesday.
Topeka Police says Steven Trahoon was found on Interstate 35 in Osage County, almost 20 miles southwest of Topeka and over 30 miles northeast of Emporia. Trahoon was pronounced dead at the scene.
Trahoon, 67, was last seen Saturday evening in Topeka, prompting a Silver Alert through TPD. Authorities say he had been dealing with “significant health issues.”
