A three-match winning streak was snapped Tuesday night for the Emporia High boys soccer team at Washburn Rural.
The Junior Blues defeated the Spartans, 1-0, keeping their undefeated season alive while ending the Spartans’ 3-game winning streak.
Emporia High is now 4-5 on the season and 1-1 in Centennial League play. The Spartans host Topeka High at 6:15 p.m. Thursday at the EHS turf field.
