The Emporia High girls tennis team finished in a tie for fifth at Washburn Rural Tuesday.
The tournament was rained out after pool play was completed with place matches not played.
Sophomore Kali Keough went 3-0 in her pool at No. 1 singles.
The No. 1 doubles team of sophomores Peyton Chanley and Kinsley Hines went 1-2.
The No. 2 doubles team of seniors Ashlynn Foraker and Darian Chadwick went 2-1.
Senior Danika Williams went 0-3 in her pool at No. 2 singles.
Emporia High will host a home invitational on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. at the EHS tennis courts.
