After a dry and mild Wednesday, storm chances are re-entering the forecast by late afternoon Thursday.
Currently, the forecast calls for a slight chance of storms in the late afternoon hours increasing after sunset. No severe weather is expected areawide for Thursday or Thursday night, but a marginal risk of storms is in place Friday afternoon along and west of a line from Matfield Green to Emporia to Osage City. Borderline severe wind and hail are the main concerns with isolated activity expected.
Saturday mid-afternoon to mid-evening has a slight risk of severe weather areawide. All hazards are currently possible.
