A Reading teenager was hurt in a rollover crash in north Lyon County on Friday afternoon.
Lyon County Deputy Jody Meyers says a pickup crashed in the 2100 block of Kansas Highway 99 south of Admire and about 14 miles north of Emporia around 3:20 pm. The driver, 15-year-old Rowan Humphreys, was southbound when the truck went off the highway for unlisted reasons. Humphreys overcorrected, going across the highway before hitting a barbed wire fence and overturning.
A news release does not indicate where Humphreys went for medical treatment. Meyers says she was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash.
