For the final time this season, the Emporia High girls tennis team held its final home tournament Monday.
Sophomore Kali Keough finished second in singles. It was her second top 3 finish after placing third in Saturday’s home invitational.
The No. 1 doubles team of Ashlynn Foraker and Darian Chadwick finished third, however, had to defeat their teammates, the No. 2 doubles team of Peyton Chanley and Kinsley Hines.
As a team, Emporia High finished third behind Newton and Olathe Northwest.
Emporia High will travel to Topeka for the Centennial League Tournament at the Kossover Tennis Complex on Monday.
