CareArc once again reported a financial gain, this time for the month of August.
The monthly financial report, delivered during Tuesday’s Board of Directors meeting, showed a $73,000 net gain for the month putting the year-to-date total at just over $1.9 million. The $1.9 million total includes Federal funding and a contribution from the Jones Testementary Trust.
Factoring out those dollars, the year-to-date total stands at more than $360,000 according to CEO Renee Hively.
In other business Tuesday, the board voted to alter the names of two health center policies. CareArc’s code of conduct and “respectful workplace” policies were changed to the code of ethics and new code of conduct policies respectively.
Hively says the changes better reflect the purpose of each policy with the code of ethics overseeing actions related to business operations while the code of conduct relates to personal behavior within the workplace. Board members also received the monthly clinical and CQI committee reports.
Board members also considered and approved several individuals for credentialing and privileges.
The CareArc Board of Directors will next convene on Tuesday, October 24 at noon inside of the CareArc main campus.
