An Emporia Police officer was hurt in a crash in west Emporia this week.
Lyon County Deputy Jody Meyers says the crash happened at Ninth and Graham around 5 pm Tuesday. Kelly Davis, age 48, was driving his car northbound when he had an unspecified medical issue. Davis then turned west, hitting a curb and a tree.
Davis was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. He suffered suspected minor injuries and was taken to Newman Regional Health for treatment. Davis was off duty at the time of the crash.
