A motions hearing in a Lyon County rape case has been delayed.
Gerald Travis Todd will be back in District Court on Oct. 17 because the defense expert’s opinion has not been received. This also moves the tentative trial dates to start Oct. 30 and end Nov. 3.
Todd is accused of two counts of rape and four of aggravated criminal sodomy. after an alleged incident in August 2021. The legal complaint accuses Todd of illegal activity with somebody incapable of giving consent due to alcohol or drugs.
