The Emporia State basketball teams have released their schedules. The men will tip the season November 1 with an exhibition at Kansas State. They’ll then travel to Lakeland, Florida for the SCB Hall of Fame Classic with games against UNC Pembroke and Virginia Union. The men and women will host a joint MIAA/GAC Challenge with each team playing two games at White Auditorium on November 10 and 11. Other men’s nonconference games include a matchup against old MIAA rival Truman State and a home game against Indianapolis while the women visit Wayne State College. The MIAA schedule will start and end with Washburn in the Turnpike Tussle with the conference opener scheduled for Saturday, December 2 at White Auditorium. The Hornets will also play home and home with Rogers State, Pittsburg State, Lincoln, Central Missouri, Missouri Western, Newman, Northeastern State, and Northwest Missouri. They’ll host UCO and Missouri Southern while visiting Nebraska-Kearney and Fort Hays State. Full schedules are available at esuhornets.com.
