Welcome rainfall is likely Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, but don’t expect anything close to a drought-buster.
Showers and storms are expected from the early evening to the pre-sunrise hours areawide. The National Weather Service expects up to half an inch of rain, with many people getting less than that.
There is a severe weather risk west of Emporia. A marginal risk has been announced for western portions of Chase and Morris counties, with a better risk of all hazards in central Kansas.
