Pet owners looking to get their pets vaccinated against rabies are invited to come out to the Emporia Animal Shelter this weekend.
The shelter, in partnership with the K-State Mobile Vet Program, will be hosting a discounted rabies vaccination clinic for both cats and dogs Saturday beginning at 10 am in the shelter parking lot at 1216 Hatcher. The clinic will operate on a number system, meaning first come, first served.
The clinic will also include a brief exam prior to the vaccination with a donation of $5 or a non-rawhide treat package suggested. All dogs will need to be leashed for the event and cats must be in a carrier.
