US Senator Jerry Moran is among the federal lawmakers announcing assistance to Kansans in Israel as fighting escalates in the Middle East.
Kansas residents in Israel or people who know Kansans in the country are asked to call 913-393-0711 or email casework@moran.senate.gov.
Moran says residents who want to stay in touch with the US Embassy in Israel can fill out an online form or call one of two numbers: 833-890-9595 or 606-641-0131.
Americans in Israel are also encouraged to enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program, get online updates through the US Embassy in Israel and get travel advisories from the State Department.
