Emporia High sophomore Kali Keough is set to play in the Class 5A state tournament.
Keough is the six-seed and has a first-round bye. She’ll play either Juila Judkins of Kapaun Mt. Carmel or Sofia Burns of Salina South in her first match.
Keough says having state experience is pivotal heading into this year.
Keough says her goal is to place in the top four and improve on her eighth-place finish from a season ago.
The Class 5A state tournament is being held at the Salina Tennis Center in Salina.
