There’s another street improvement project coming for Emporia.
Next week, work begins on a pavement milling and overlay project on West 15th between State and Lawrence. Work could last into early November, weather permitting.
This will cause adjustments for the angled parking on the north side of 15th outside CareArc and the Hillcrest apartment complex. The city says that parking area will be blocked off for about a week.
