Lebo, the top-ranked team in Class 1A Division II went 5-0 on Saturday to win the Lyon County League Tournament championship at White Auditorium.
Lebo defeated Olpe in straight sets, 25-18, 28-26 to claim the tournament title.
Coach Gina Peek says the Wolves are finding ways to continue to be successful.
Junior Saige Hadley surpassed 1,000 kills in her career during the tournament on Saturday.
Lebo defeated Madison, Olpe, and Southern Coffey County to advance to bracket play. Lebo defeated Burlingame to advance to the championship match, 25-13, 25-17. Olpe defeated MdCV, 25-23, 25-12 to advance to play Lebo in the title game.
MdCV won the third-place match over Burlingame, 27-25, 25-18.
Lebo is now 33-2 on the season.
Sub-state volleyball will take place on Saturday. Lebo, Waverly, MdCV and Southern Coffey County will be in a 1A-DII sub-state hosted by Waverly. Hartford will travel to Centre. Olpe and Madison will travel to Marmaton Valley. Burlingame will host a Class 1A-Division I sub-state.
