Water service was disrupted for a northwest Emporia neighborhood Tuesday afternoon. The disruption will continue Wednesday morning.
City Communications Manager Christine Torrens says crews began fixing a water main along Willow Lane between Redwood and Apple before 3 pm. A decision was made Tuesday evening to resume work around 8 am Wednesday. Residents on Willow between Apple and Redwood were put on low water pressure until the repairs resume.
This followed a water main break on West Ridge Drive before sunrise Tuesday and a break at Grove and Lawrence before sunrise Monday.
