The impact of the ongoing security issue affecting the Kansas court online systems continues to expand.
The Department for Children and Families says residents should expect delays on returned filings, court hearings and notice on orders becuse the electronic filing and court records systems are still down until further notice. This also delays child support payments awaiting court orders or guidance from DCF, court trustees and county clerks.
DCF is working with YoungWilliams and Maximus to offer “full-service operations” through fax and paper filings. Residents who have cases “in process” should call the DCF Child Support Services hotline at 888-757-2445 with questions. Online updates will be available at the Kansas Payment Center website, kspaycenter.com.
