Emporia State University has announced the speaker for its annual Sam and Jeannene Hayes Lecture next week.
Wendy Wheat graduated from Emporia State in 2000 with a bachelor of science degree in computer information systems, minoring in business administration. She is currently a senior director in information technology with T-Mobile after having worked for T-Mobile and Sprint for over 20 years.
Wheat’s presentation is called “Navigating Life and Leadership in a Diverse World.” The lecture is at 7:30 pm Oct. 26 at the Memorial Union Webb Hall and officially opens Emporia State’s Homecoming activity list.
