A Chase County man was hurt when his car went off US Highway 56 and rolled near Allen on Wednesday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 61-year-old Kurtis Lee Roberts of Cottonwood Falls was westbound when the passenger-side tires on his car went off the highway to the right. Roberts overcorrected. The car skidded across the highway before going into a ditch and rolling onto its top.
Roberts was taken to Newman Regional Health with suspected minor injuries. He was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
2 pm Wednesday: Wreck near Admire sends one person to Newman Regional Health
Details will be announced later, but one person was hurt in a wreck in north Lyon County on Wednesday.
The crash happened around noon in the 1300 block of US Highway 56 near Admire. Emporia Fire says a man was taken to Newman Regional Health for treatment afterward.

Several agencies have responded to a reported injury crash in north-central Lyon County.
An injury crash was reported in the 1300 block of US Highway 56, or about a mile east of Northern Heights High School, around noon. Other crash details are currently pending.
Emporia Fire, Allen-Admire first responders, Lyon County deputies and Kansas Highway Patrol troopers were dispatched to the scene. KVOE and KVOE.com will have updates.
