The Kansas State High School Activities Association finalized its brackets for sub-state volleyball in Classes 3A, 2A and 1A Wednesday.
In Class 1A-Division II, Lebo is the No. 1 seed in the Waverly sub-state and will face either Southern Coffey County or St. Paul in the semifinals. Marais des Cygnes Valley is the No. 2 seed and will take on Chetopa. Waverly is the No. 3 seed and will take on Altoona-Midway. Hartford is the No. 4 seed in the Centre sub-state and will take on Peabody-Burns.
In Class 1A-Division I, Burlingame is the No. 4 seed of its hosted sub-state and will face Troy. Northern Heights is the No. 6 seed and will take on Doniphan West. Olpe and Madison are in the Marmaton Valley sub-state. Olpe is the No. 2 seed and will face either No. 6 Madison or Yates Center in the semifinals.
In Class 2A, Mission Valley and Lyndon are in the Wabaunsee sub-state. Mission Valley is the No. 5 seed and will take on Wabaunsee. Lyndon is the No. 3 seed and will take on Valley Falls. Chase County is the No. 4 seed in the Hillsboro sub-state and will face Marion.
In Class 3A, Council Grove is the No. 8 seed in the Halstead sub-state and will take on Halstead. Osage City is the No. 3 seed in the West Franklin sub-state and will take on Hayden.
Earlier this week, Emporia High got its sub-state assignment as the No. 9 seed in the 5A west bracket. The Lady Spartans will take on Bishop Carroll at Andover Central.
