With USD 253 not having classes Thursday or Friday, the district says it will serve free meals for children ages 18 and below both days.
The host site is Walnut Elementary. Breakfasts will be served from 8-9 am. Lunches will be served from 11:30 am to 1 pm. Meals will be available while supplies last and must be eaten at the school.
The district says the same school and same approach will also be in effect Nov. 10.
