ESU's Diaz Named All-Region

Emporia State redshirt junior runner Jaime Diaz was named All-Region by the United States Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association on Monday.  Diaz finished 19th at the Central Region Championships held in Joplin, Mo. Saturday Nov. 4 with the Top 25 finishers earning All-Region awards.  Diaz was the Hornets’ fastest runner in every event they participated in this season and was previously named All-MIAA after his fourth place finish at the MIAA Championships.  The Hornet men finished 16th at the Central Regional this past weekend.
